Information we collect

When you contact us, create an account, request a quotation, place an order or subscribe, we collect information you provide, such as your name, business name, contact details, billing and delivery information, order history and correspondence. Payment providers process payment information needed for your transaction. Please do not send payment-card details or sensitive identity documents by ordinary email.

Our website and its service providers also receive device and usage information, such as IP address, browser information, pages viewed and interactions, through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. Which information is collected depends on your interaction and applicable privacy choices.

How information is used

We use information to respond to inquiries, administer accounts, process and deliver orders, handle returns, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain records, comply with legal obligations and improve the store. We also use information for marketing and advertising, including retargeting, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message; necessary order communications continue.

Service providers and advertising

Information is shared as needed with Shopify and providers supporting payments, delivery, insurance, customer support, communications, analytics and advertising. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, to meet legal requirements, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.

We do not sell customer lists for money. However, disclosure of identifiers and browsing activity to advertising partners for cross-site advertising may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws. Those activities are distinct from selling a customer list, and applicable opt-out rights may apply.

Your choices and requests

Use available cookie/privacy controls and your browser settings to manage cookies. Blocking cookies may affect store functionality. To request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or an opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, email info@realgemsinc.com. Describe your request and the email used with the store; do not include sensitive documents. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a supervisory authority. We will handle requests according to applicable law and may need proportionate identity verification. Authorized agents may contact us with proof of authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Retention, security and international processing

We retain information as needed for the purposes described here, including completing transactions, recordkeeping, resolving disputes and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and reason it is held. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and our services, but no online system is completely secure. Shopify and other providers may process information in countries outside your own; applicable transfer requirements apply.

Shopify and other websites

Shopify provides our platform. We also use Shopify Network Intelligence, which combines information from interactions with our store with information from other merchants and Shopify to improve services, personalize experiences and support advertising. For these enhanced services, Shopify processes information under its own privacy policy. You can exercise rights concerning that processing through Shopify’s privacy portal. Children and changes

Our store is intended for adults and business purchasers, not children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us. We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements and will provide additional notice where required.
